The hill was visible as we got closer on our right side. It was a fantastic sight with a steep slope that made it possible to enjoy the excitement of sledding while gaining a lot of speed.

The hill is a well-liked site for individuals looking for winter activities due to its position on Rampart Range Road. We were eager to explore the snowy slopes with our friends Aurilena, Fabian, and Valencia, so we joined the throngs of enthusiasts who had flocked there to take in the scenery. The slope and length of the hill combined to provide the ideal setting for an amazing sledding adventure.

It’s important to note that there are other sledding attractions nearby than the Rampart Sled Hill. Other sledding areas have gained popularity over time among both residents and tourists. Some of these locations are the Snow Mountain Ranch Sledding and Tubing Hill in Winter Park and a steep bowl off Rampart Range Road in Woodland Park, which is located immediately north of US 24 on Baldwin St. Rampart Sled Hill was an unforgettable experience. The Monarch Mountain Tubing Park will open for the 2023–24 season in mid- to late-December, after there has been enough snowfall to create the tubing lanes.
